The Thursday morning suicide bombing attack on the Nato force's convoy in the Shah Shahed area of Kabul killed 15 people, two Nato soldiers and four foreign contractors. Around 40 people including six ISAF soldiers were also injured in the blast. These figures were confirmed by ISAF in its media statement.

President Karzai condemned the suicide attack and called it inhuman and a non-Islamic act.

Dr Abdullah Abdullah, Leader of National Coalition warns that if the approval of election's law is delayed any further it will pose a threat to conducting free and fair election in 2014.

He said that the Parliament should decide regarding election law's approval as soon as possible. Meanwhile, Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, Head of Transition Process said that the government, political parties and civil bodies should adopt necessary measures for holding transparent and fair elections.
